I. Class Registration

A. To schedule training in our Chantilly, VA classroom visit our Registration page to get started.

B. When you have decided on the class you wish to register for, click on the class on the Class Schedule to be taken to the class page where you will be able to read more about the class and start the registration process.

C. All class registrations are completed online by the student to prevent spelling errors on certification cards and address errors.

II.  Payment

A. The class registration fee is due in full to hold a seat in the requested class.

B. Medic Response Health & Safety accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards online, over the phone, by mail. We also accept PayPal payments.

C. Any balance not paid during registration must be paid at the time of the class via credit or debit card, or cash.

III. Reschedule/Cancellation Policy

Medic Response Health & Safety’s goal is to provide our clients with the right class for them at the right time that is convenient for them. As such, Medic Response Health & Safety strives to provide each and every client with a comprehensive selection of class dates, that make it straightforward, secure, and convenient for them to receive their requested class. It is our goal to provide our clients with the ability to schedule a class up to three (3) months in advance allowing our clients maximum flexibility in order to prepare for the class.

When a client schedules a class with Medic Response Health & Safety and the class is confirmed at a particular date, and time, the seat in that class time is fully reserved for that client and is not available to other clients. At the time of reservation, a seat in the class is taken out of our scheduling and registration system, so canceling or rescheduling on short notice deprives other clients deprived from being able to use that class time.

The following reschedule / cancellation policies are for classes held at our Chantilly, Virginia Training Center classroom:

A. Classes that are scheduled and confirmed must be rescheduled at least 48-hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class to allow us time to try to rebook the class seat for another student.

B. Classes that are rescheduled at least 48-hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class will not incur a re-scheduling fee or penalty.

C. Classes that are rescheduled after 48-hours prior to the scheduled class start time will incur a Rescheduling Fee of $20 to reschedule the class.

D. Classes that are cancelled at the request of the client prior to 48-hours before the scheduled start time of the class will receive a 50% refund of class registration fees paid.

E. Classes that are cancelled at the request of the client after 48-hours prior to the scheduled class start time of the class will not be entitled to a refund for the class registration fees and all fees collected will be considered earned by the company for reserving the students seat in the class.

F. Students that do not show up for their scheduled class, or who show up after the scheduled start time of the class will not be entitled to receive a refund of the class registration fees paid and a new class registration fee will have to be paid to reschedule the class.

IV. Hold Harmless

A. Due to the physical nature of the training classes that we provide, all participants that take part in a class offered by Medic Response Health & Safety must sign a Release and Hold Harmless Agreement before they will be allowed to participate in the class.

B. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian must also sign the release before the participant will be allowed to participate in the class.

V. Certification Cards

A. The AHA Training Center Coordinator issues American Heart Association course completion cards and we have no control over them. Digital certification cards are normally processed Cards typically arrive within two weeks but in rare occurrences or could be sooner. A temporary Certification Verification letter on our company letterhead will be issued at the completion of the course to verify course completion for employment purposes until the certification card is received.

B. American Safety & Health Institute course completion cards and we have no control over them. Digital certification cards are normally processed Cards typically arrive within two weeks but in rare occurrences or could be sooner. A temporary Certification Verification letter on our company letterhead will be issued at the completion of the course to verify course completion for employment purposes until the certification card is received.

C. There are no longer printed cards.  Digital certification cards are normally processed Cards typically arrive within two weeks but in rare occurrences or could be sooner.

D. If you happen to lose your printed certification card, replacement print cards for classes taught by Medic Response Health & Safety can be ordered for a Lost Certification Card Replacement Fee of $20.00.

E. Replacement print cards will take approximately one to two weeks for us to order once the replacement fee invoice has been paid.

F. Your Replacement card will come in Digital certification cards

VI. Reasonable Accommodations

All Health & Safety programs include a written exam to help assess your understanding of course content.  If you need special testing accommodations (e.g. large print exam), please let us know in advance of the course.  Exams are only available in English. Requested accommodations that fundamentally alter the nature of the skills will not be granted. For example, participants must be able to kneel on the ground to perform chest compressions at an appropriate rate and depth.  Persons with back conditions that cannot perform skills on the ground are welcomed to audit the course and participate in the program to the full extent they are able, but will not be eligible for certification. The full course fee applies to students who may audit the course.
