American Red Cross (ARC) training programs are currently recognized, accepted, approved, or meet the requirements of more than 2,100 state and provincial regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions, and councils in more than 120 occupations and professions.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
ARC Breathing new life into resuscitation education, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) is designed to train professionals to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies for adult, child, and infant victims. Consistent with the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Through the use of lectures, skills demonstration and practice, case-based emergency response scenarios, and reflection and debriefing activities with a focus on team-based response, BLS builds the key critical thinking, problem-solving, and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year “Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers” digital certificate with any time, anywhere access to certificate and training history. This training is about 5 hrs

Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, & AED
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age – adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. Class time about 6 hrs.

Emergency Medical Response
Get Professional-Level Training for Staff & Employees!
Provides a training program based on the national EMS educational standards for an Emergency Medical Response (EMR) through the American Red Cross!
Emergency Medical Response is a dynamic 56-hour course featuring lecture, video, simulated emergency situations, discussion, and hands-on skill practice based on the national EMS curriculum requirements and educational standards.
While Emergency Medical Responder does not provide state licensure or certification as an Emergency Medical Responder, this course is ideal for high school and college-aged students to receive training similar to training EMS professionals receive as they look to enter careers in healthcare, public safety, or law enforcement.
This training is also ideal for your On-Campus Security and/or emergency response teams!
This course trains individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a first responder in an emergency to help sustain life until Fire & Rescue gets there. You can help reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until more medical help can arrive.

Wilderness and Remote First Aid – 2 Day Course
To provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response. This includes wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. Participants must possess current adult CPR/AED certification (or the equivalent) and be at least 14 years of age on or before the last scheduled session of the course. Prerequisites will be verified by the instructor at the start of the course and are required for student participation in this course.
Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.
