We also can train your staff as First Responders and /or set up First Responder Teams (also known as Medical Emergency Response Teams (MERT) for your office or facilities where emergency medicine is not close to you. We can train and retrain your staff so your cards don’t lapse. We conduct these classes so you can maintain compliance with OSHA and ANSI standards.


Our regional training center in Chantilly, VA, near Dulles International Airport, provides the most comprehensive and convenient First Aid and CPR/AED training available in northern Virginia and the surrounding area, including Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. Our instructors are professionals from the fire rescue department, search and rescue fields and the park service around the northern Virginia metro area. They are uniquely prepared to give you a wealth of knowledge and skills.



Trisha started taking Red Cross courses when she was 15 years old, and was a rink guard at her hometown ice rink, where she provided first aid. She also worked for the family business, taking care of front end sales and medical. After years she took EMT classes.

Later in life she became a member of the Fire and Rescue Department, and was there for 25 years. She was the assistant teacher for EMT classes and joined the National Ski Patrol in Pennsylvania, starting out as an employee, then becoming a volunteer patrol, taking care of injured skiers on the mountain for 18 years. She was the Outdoor Emergency Care Instructor for the National Ski Patrol for 18 years.

After several years of Ski Patrol and Fire & Rescue, Trisha decided to join the Shenandoah Mountain Search & Rescue Team and spent 11 years as a team member. She has been the Adjunct Instructor for Virginia Department of Emergency Management for 4 years, and continues in theis role today. Additionally, Trisha is in her 10th year as a Ranger with the National Park Service, with a focus on EMS and SAR, and she provides EMS services at Wolf Trap National Park.
